From an idea to a digital book
How Dreamweavel works.
Dreamweavel uses AI to create personalized story text, illustrations and read-aloud narration from the choices you make. An adult creates the book and reviews it before reading or sharing it with a child.
Watch a real storybook come to life.
This 38-second walkthrough features Hayden’s Dinosaur Sleepover and an excerpt of its saved narration. It returns to an existing book; the form illustrates its saved story idea using today’s interface. The original creation settings weren’t recorded.

1. Choose your character
Begin with a name and age. You can add character details and reuse saved characters for later adventures. A nickname or a fictional character can be a starting point, too.
A photo is not required to begin. Photo-based characters are an optional visual-reference feature. Only upload a photo you have permission to use, and read our parent guidance before including personal details.
2. Choose the story idea and language
Pick a theme or describe your own idea. A specific, simple brief helps explain the story you have in mind: who the character is, where the adventure happens, and how you would like it to end.
A curious little fox follows a lantern-lit path, helps a new friend find the way, and returns home for a quiet evening.
The story-language choices are English, Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Thai. The book’s language is chosen separately from the website’s interface language.
3. Pick an art style and create the book
Choose an illustration style in the creation form. For an account with paid pages, check the selected story length and available balance before creating. The pricing page explains the current page packs and subscription offers.
Story generation can take different amounts of time. Text, images and narration may finish at different stages; follow the progress in the app. Some media may need another attempt to complete.
4. Review, read and return for another adventure
Open the completed story in the reader. Read the text, look through the pictures and check the narration before sharing it with a child. AI can make mistakes in story details, appearance, language and pronunciation.
Save books to your library and use the app’s available sharing controls when you want someone else to read them. Treat a shared-library link as an access link. For an evening read, see our bedtime story ideas.

Our fictional website samples offer two short adventures you can read without an account. They are AI-assisted editorial samples with original SVG illustrations, rather than books generated by the Dreamweavel app.
Questions about personalized AI storybooks
What can I personalize in a Dreamweavel storybook?
The creation form lets you choose a character’s name and age, a story idea, an art style and a story language. Saved characters can be used for further adventures. The resulting text, illustrations and narration are generated with AI, so details can vary between books.
Do I need to upload a photo?
No. You can begin with character details without uploading a photo. Photo-based characters are an optional way to provide a visual reference. Only use a photo you have permission to upload, and avoid including unnecessary personal information.
Do the storybooks include narration?
Dreamweavel supports AI-generated read-aloud narration alongside the text and illustrations. Check the completed book before reading or playing it for a child. Individual illustrations or narration can sometimes need another attempt to finish.
Which story languages are available?
The creation form offers English, Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Thai. Story language is a separate choice from the language of the website interface. Names, pronunciation and generated wording may need review.
How long does creating a book take?
Generation time varies with the length of the book, the number of illustrations and service availability. Watch the progress shown in the app. A book’s text, illustrations and narration may finish at different times.
Are Dreamweavel books digital or printed?
Dreamweavel creates digital storybooks that you read in its book reader and save in your library. The examples on this website are readable on the web. See the app for its available saving and sharing options.
How do paid pages and subscriptions work?
The pricing page shows one-time page packs and Daily Magic subscriptions. Review the current price, billing period, daily refill and bank limit before checkout. The creation form shows the page balance and story options available to your account.
